Certificates of Competency

21 Offence

21. Offence---Every person commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $200 who, being required under section 19 (6) of this Act to surrender to the Commission any certificate of competency in the Māori language, fails without reasonable excuse to do so.
